We maintain a good selection of woodworking hand tools - planes (both metal and wooden), chisels, gauges, squares, woodturning, carving and occasionally collectable items turn up regularly - check the Late Arrivals for particularly interesting equipment. Tools for the rarer crafts - bookbinder, saddler, cooper, wheelwright, musical instrument maker etc. make occasional for particularly interesting equipment. We stock the excellent (new) Crown Hand Tools British-made turning and carving tools, together with their superb range of rosewood-handled bevel-edged (1/8" to 1.5") and paring (1/4" to 1.25") chisels, marking and mortise gauges, squares, cabinet scrapers, small saws etc. The chisels have proved particularly popular with students and staff at the Lyme Regis School of Boatbuilding.

As far as machinery is concerned, we regularly handle used workshop equipment: planer thicknessers up to 10" x 8", saw benches up to 12" blade, pillar and bench drills, radial arm saws etc... Hand-held power tools also appear from time to time, although our demanding standards mean that we never have as many as we would like for sale. Last but not least we keep a selection of good gardening tools!
