David Fouracre
He is a keen founder member of the Exeter Gauge O Group He lives in Colyton with his wife and some of his five daughters. He took up horse-riding a few years ago, and was regularly to be seen on his generously-proportioned bay Ardennes gelding Dan (below). Sadly, in January this year Dan went to the great stable in the sky - he's greatly missed.
Both David and his wife Susan (who regularly helps out in the shop) enjoy classical music and singing - David sings on a semi-professional basis. These interests are reflected in the music played in the shop - more Bach Brahms and Beethoven than Black Sabbath! If you are visiting the shop on a Saturday and particularly want to speak to David, then do contact us beforehand as he is sometimes away singing on Saturdays.
