LATE ARRIVALS - METALWORKING 1

A very good example of a Boxford AUD Mk.II
lathe on cabinet stand. The lathe has had the bed reground in recent
years and been professionally rebuilt, so is in really good condition.
We're only a bit sorry about the decidedly Tory paint job! However, the
machine has the following features: gearbox, power cross-feed, four-way
toolpost, thread dial indicator, long bed (28" between centres), 3-jaw
self-centre chuck, 4-jaw independent chuck (both Burnerd), tailstock
chuck, faceplate, catchplate, travelling steady, and fitted
taper-turning attachment with cross-slide. The machine is imperial and
single-phase.

A superb Union toolmaker's chest, 18"W x
9"D x 12¾"H. The outside has a few minor scratches, and there is
evidence of an adhesive label on the front tray (see photo left).
However, the interior of the chest is pristine and almost certainly
unused, with clean green baize lining to all drawers. A rare opportunity
to acquire one of these super chests. £125.00 |
