A rare piece of equipment: this pantograph engraver by Friedrich Deckel - the model G1 - was manufactured in 1927, and is still in really good condition. The worktable has some marks of over-enthusiasm, but this does not greatly detract from the usefulness of the machine. It comes complete with two sets of brand new belts, 1/4" and 1/8" cutter collets (which means that standard 1/4" shank milling cutters can be used), and a number of styli. £450.00
Front-on view of the engraver. We have replaced the possibly original motor, and the machine has been completely rewired with a NVR switch. The marking on the worktable may be seen in this view.
