LATE ARRIVALS - COLLECTABLES

This is a really splendid piece of craftsman-made tooling: a massive 51" long mitre shooting board, handmade to high standards to withstand a huge amount of work. Construction appears to be from laminated oak and pitch pine, and all critical wear surfaces are faced with heavy steel plate, fixed to the timberwork with a multitude of brass screws. The two mitre cheeks are capable of limited adjustment. Whilst hardly a practical proposition, what a stunning backdrop for that collection of Norris planes! £350.00

A Stanley No.22 dowel sharpener (1892-1953), a few minor blemishes to plating otherwise very good - £12.00

A Moore and Wright standard wire gauge, No.1054, from 1-26G - £12.00

It's not often that we recommend purchase of tools by collectors only, but this is one justifiable occasion. This No.191 billhook by Brades has 75% of the two original trade labels still remaining on the handle, and use would inevitable result in their loss. The hook itself is in very good condition and very little used - £35.00

Now we're approaching the back-end of the year (horrible thought!) here's just the thing for chopping the kindling in style: a light hatchet by Morris of Dunsford, with the majority of the original trade label remaining on the handle. I understand that Morris are still in operation in their original location a few miles west of Exeter. £12.00

A very good Record No. A65 chamfer shave, complete and little-used, with good trade label - £35.00 SOLD

A J.Rabone & Sons 12" iron three-vial level in good condition - £22.00
